Had my 30th high-school reunion here, and it was a great place. The food was great, the staff was friendly. The only thing I didn't care for was my mixed drink. Felt it was too strong with the jack Daniel's whiskey in it. Other than that, an overall good experience.
Really nice place to play golf. Online reservations work pretty well. The course is well maintained. Carts have GPS and Bluetooth connectivity so you can play your tunes through speakers built into the cart.
I live on 5th fairway. My place gets hit a lot. Golfers are responsible to yell out 4 if ball goes astray. Also golfer is responsible for damage or injury according to New York state law. I think golf course should start informing golfers of this policy as almost all golfers refuse to acknowledge their own errors.
At this moment the course is in pretty good shape. My only complaint is the sensitivity of the restricted areas where you can take the golf cart. Sometimes you barely enter the home next to yours and, boom you have to reverse, with a very slow notice that you're in a restricted areas. Frustrating. Otherwise a very solid course experience.
Great Robert Trent Jones, Sr. design. Large golf course, fairways are smooth, open so wind affects alot of shots, lots of water, traps, large Greens are tru run fast. I think it is a Great course. Really good from Owner on through the Pro sh9p, Halfway house and 19th hole.
One of my ALL TIME favorite tracks in Western New York. What I would call, “The Golf Hub of WNY” in that the First Tee of WNY is there, WNY PGA is HQ’ed there, and they have such an incredible golf / banquet facility, too!
Great to be back out there and AWESOME to see how disciplined and on top of the situation the management team is regarding social distancing and taking ALL of the proper precautions to keep safe. It was a joy to be out on the course yesterday while being safe and vigilant getting the MUCH needed exercise I needed for my mental and physical health via the game of golf. Thank you to the management and operations teams! Masterful work.
5 stars for the course, zero for communication. Paid for 4 players, only had 3 and was told I would get a credit on my card for the difference.. that was a month ago. No one answers the phone and despite sending emails to their site, no one responds..horrible follow through.
